Phil Jones is among a group of previous Premier League stars to graduate from the PFA Business College, securing a Diploma in Sport Directorship.
The previous Manchester United defender, who retired in 2015 at the age of 32, existed with his diploma at an event this week. Sharing photos on Instagram in his graduation gown, Jones meant the next step in his career.
“International Sporting Supervisors program done @thepfabusiness,” he composed “Building on my mentoring badges and current Pro Licence as the trip proceeds …”
Congratulations quickly poured in from former United and England teammates consisting of Antonio Valencia and Kyle Pedestrian, along with Benni McCarthy and Sam Allardyce– the supervisor who initially provided him his expert advancement at Blackburn Rovers.
Jones had not been the only familiar name among the finishing class.
Previous Newcastle and Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul and West Brom stalwart Kyle Bartley likewise gained diplomas in Sport Directorship, while Premier League winner Danny Simpson completed a diploma in Football Psychology, Emotional Knowledge & & Leadership.
There were existing stars also: Newcastle’s Yoane Wissa and five-time Premier League champ Ilkay Gündogan were both part of the latest consumption.
As for Jones, with Manchester United in deep situation on and off the pitch, some fans will certainly be questioning if a future duty back at Old Trafford may simply be on the horizon.
